BREW92°

Food

BREW92°BREW92° is where good food and great coffee meet. The relatively new coffee cafe is not one to be missed.  Having gone several times over the months I wanted to share this Jeddah based gem with all of you. For starters the coffee menu is impressive, cold brew, chemex, french press just to name a few methods on how these guys are pouring that black liquid  gold into our mugs. Read more

Ahwak- A Lebanese Experience

Food

IMG_8844Ahwak, basically means love you in Lebanese arabic. Or that is what I have been told. Anyhow, it’s the name of the Lebanese restaurant found here in Jeddah. After being recommended to it by a few friends we finally went to check it out. Cafe Bateel

For those of you in Riyadh this cafe may be an old favorite, but for us here in Jeddah it is a new gem. The french inspired cafe is located in the new swanky Prestige Mall on King Abdul Aziz Street and has become very popular. Making our way there for Friday brunch was only expected. The cafe is beautifully decorated and the seating area for families is perfectly arranged in 3 sections including an outside terrace, glass pane lower level and view admiring upper level. The menu for breakfast/ brunch is pretty varied including french toast to shakshouka (Arabic egg dish). Read more

Maison de Zaid

Food

maisondezaid-jeddah

Just look at those pancakes, seriously could you really resist. As you may already know I am a frequent FOURSQUARE user, I can be on it for hours searching, reading and exploring all the restaurants in my neighborhood, city and even sometimes country, I can tell you that 9 out 10 times I would have checked the reviews on FOURSQUARE before deciding to eat at a restaurant or not. Anyhow, once I returned to Jeddah the first thing I looked up what breakfast spots (it’s a Friday tradition) and of course these delectable mini pancakes popped out at me. That is what lead us to Maison de Zaid this past Friday. Read more
