It seems like a decade ago I first mentioned online shopping in Saudi Arabia here on the blog. But being one of the most viewed posts of all-time it clearly speaks for itself. Many people including myself prefer online shopping, to the over crowded malls of Saudi. Not to mention the endless selection, better deals, and hard to find items all readily available at the click of a button.
As pleasant as online shopping is, the hardship falls on delivery options. With a practically non-existent postal service here in Saudi Arabia and no logical address system, delivery can become very chaotic. Let’s not forget online shopping is limited to courier service delivery that often adds a hefty surcharge to your order, sometimes making the
entire purchase impractical.
My review of the top places to shop online mentioned in my previous post still remain some of my favorites however with time comes new and better discoveries to I have listed my all-time 5 absolute favorite online shops.

The options for flights within the Kingdom are slim; two options. You have the choice from one of two SAUDIA and FLYNAS. Considering my previously voiced disdain for the latter I am left with one option which is SAUDIA. That being said SAUDI has its share of prides and woes and here I am to run down the list of exactly what you will encounter on your travels with SAUDIA.

They may not be jet setters traveling around the world but they definitely like to escape their harsh climates at least yearly.  As many already know ARABS like to do things like other ARABS even when travelling. Meaning they tend to go to places that are highly frequented by other ARABS.
One thing ARABS have in common is that they tend to look for the same things when deciding where to go on vacation; here is a sum up of just that.

One of the few traditions that me and the mate have picked up since being together is to always have a home-cooked meal on Friday’s. More times than not, that meal consists of fresh fish. Being in Jeddah (a coastal region) gives us an advantage to get some of the best tasting fresh fish you can find in Saudi.

Saudi Festivals are a dime a dozen , becoming so excessive they have now become borderline redundant. With so many festivals celebrating just about everything Saudi, there is always one or two that I feel warrant a visit. One of which happens yearly in TA’IF. The TA’IF FLOWER FESTIVAL celebrates the regions agriculture prosperity, showcasing the floral gems of the region. TA’IF is known for its flower producing industry, more specifically known for roses and rose by-products. Read more
