Birth Control, Contraceptives, Viagra, Condoms in Saudi Arabia

Expat

Let’s talk reproductive health/hygiene more specifically let’s take a moment to discuss methods of contraception. This question has come up several times over the year. Questions on its availability, where to get it and how to get it? Only brush the surface of the questions we receive on the topic. The simplest and most straightforward answer is: YES. Birth control pills are readily available across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and can be purchased from your local pharmacy without a prescription. Most popular brands of birth control pills are available here and are relatively cheaper than found in the West.  You’re looking at costs around $10-$20 USD for a 3-month

supply.
It is often wrongly stated that you must be married in order to make the purchase(show proof), which is absolutely incorrect. Anybody can buy it!
Yes, fellas’ condoms are also widely available in Saudi Arabia; huge selections of condoms and lubricants can be found in local pharmacies. The larger pharmacies carry a wider selection and carry more brands.
Viagra, the magically blue pill! Is very popular in Saudi Arabia (according to a acquaintance that happens to be a pharmacist, viagra is the  highest selling product medication in the country). So if you need help in that department, no need to overstock back home you can pick it up here.
Hope this quick bit of info helps bring some clarity to the area!
