The very popular “The Courtyard City” in Jeddah, strikes again with yet another hotspot. We tend to be regulars at two places of the many restaurants on site but we decided to change it up a bit, and happy we did. We opted for SEMSOM a lebanese restaurant offering a twist on classic dishes and after reading a few reviews we took our chances. It is most infamous for their “pink” hummus and steak sandwich both of which we tried. An order of chicken shawarma plate, green salad and lentil soup completed our order. Surprisingly all the dishes are fairly large and can be easily shared between two for a light lunch. The soup wasn’t the best, but the “pink hummus” definitely lived up to the hype. The steak sandwich was tasty and the side of fries and salad completed the platter nicely. The restaurant offers dessert and shisha , so it is a good family friendly place to dine. If you want something a little different then I would give this place a try. I do recommend “The Courtyard City” in Jeddah to everyone it’s a fantastic place to dine, hangout and get away from the bustle of the city.
