EXPLORING TURKEY

Travel
For our summer holiday we opted to revisit a city that we absolutely fell in love with the first time (Istanbul, Turkey). Having been there for a short time before we thought that the city had so much more to offer so we opted for a two-week stay this time around. I love it even more now than ever and think that it’s definitely a place worth revisiting.

MADINAH TRAVEL MEMORIES

Travel

The lighted city of Madinah/ Medina, to many Muslims around the world it’s a place they only dream of ever visiting. I’m never unappreciative of the fact that I work and live in a country that so many only dream of visiting. For non-Muslims it is a city closed off and entry prohibited. For Muslims it is the second holiest city in Islam and the world only to Makkah, which is the first.  Read more

ISTANBUL, TURKEY

Travel

My love for Istanbul, Turkey speaks volumes and endless photos. So, considering  I took 100’s of pics over the holidays it’s so super  hard to skim through all of them  but here are a few more. This was one of my favourite places visited; Aya Sophia. A building holding so much history and the paradigm of two religions co-existing in the same place of worship is mesmerizing. Hope you enjoy and let me know if you’ve ever been and what you loved about it.

Istanbul Turkey, is one of those places that could have you visit over a hundred times, being impressed every single time. It is the most amazing city and I can’t recommend it enough.

ISTANBUL TURKEY EDITION

Travel

This trip couldn’t have come at a better time. It was the first trip of 2014 and I needed it badly. We’ve been planning to visit Turkey over the last year but push come to shove something always changed the plans. So we stuck to the plans and ventured out to the lovely city of Istanbul and all its glory.

I couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. The city is made of something special, the streets are charmed by history, the people by culture and the streets by life. I am so happy we had the chance to spend a week there and am dying to go back. If you have never been it is definietly a place to see. I could talk for ages about the what, where and hows of my trip but I rather just show you.

SIGHTS OF SAUDI ARABIA

Travel
Coming back from holidays for me personally, is probably the most heart wrenching feeling I have ever felt. For many reasons, one of them being that most of my vacations are spent with or visiting loved ones. So departures are always bitter-sweet, epic sob moments in my life that take a little over a week to remedy. Many people think that vacationing in Saudi must be horrible and you would crazy to do so.
